KABUL (Pajhwok): The Custodian of the Holy Mosques King Salman bin Abdulaziz Al Saud and crown prince on Saturday greeted President Ashraf Ghani on the anniversary of Afghanistan’s independence, a media report said.

King Salman sent a cable of congratulations to President Dr. Mohammad Ashraf Ghani of the Islamic Republic of Afghanistan on the anniversary of his country’s Independence Day, Saudi state news agency SPA reported.

In his cable, the King wished the President constant good health and happiness and his people steady progress and prosperity.
