4 policemen killed in Achin blast

JALALABAD (Pajhwok): Four border policemen, including an officer, were killed and as many injured in a landmine explosion in the Achin district of eastern Nangarhar province on Thursday, an official said.

Governor Spokesman Attaullah Khogyani told Pajhwok Afghan News the blast happened in the Mamondara locality on the police vehicle at around 2:00 pm.

There was no claim of responsibility for the blast, but Daesh rebels often carry out attacks on security forces in the area.
