JALALABAD (Pajhwok) Congo hemorrhagic fever (CCHF) has killed one person after seven suspected cases emerged recently, an official said on Saturday.
CCHF is a viral disease symptoms may include fever, muscle pains, headache, vomiting, diarrhea, and bleeding into the skin. The CCHF virus is typically spread by tick bites or contact with livestock carrying the disease.
Public Health Department Spokesman Inamullah Miakhel told Pajhwok Afghan News: “Seven suspected cases had been emerged recently and one person has lost his life,”
