JALALABAD (Pajhwok): Local officials said many people were killed or wounded in a suicide attack on protestors in eastern Nangarhar province on Tuesday.
The governor’s spokesman, Attaullah Khogyani, told Pajhwok Afghan News the bombing took place in the Daki area of Momandara district at around 1pm.
He said protestors from the Shinwari region erected a tent in the area on the Jalalabad-Torkham highway. Preliminary information showed eight people were killed and 35 others wounded, the official added.
