KABUL (Pajhwok): The Organisation of Islamic Cooperation (OIC) chief has stressed the importance of Afghan government initiatives to promote peace, security and reconciliation in the country.
Dr. Yousef bin Ahmed Al-Othaimeen noted President Ashraf Ghani’s peace efforts during a meeting at the OIC General Secretariat in Jeddah at the level of permanent representatives.
The meeting was to follow up on the implementation of OIC resolutions on Afghanistan on Peace and Security in Afghanistan.
