Presidential election on April 20 next year: IEC

KABUL (Pajhwok): The Independent Election Commission on Friday announced April 20 next year the date to hold presidential election.

IEC groups in Kabul the presidential election was important, therefore they held consultations with various organizations.

In the consultations, it was greed the presidential election should be conducted on April 20 next year, she said.

“Some say the presidential and provincial council elections should be held samultanously, but others suggest only the presidential vote,” she said.
