KABUL (Pajhwok): National Security Advisor (NSA) Hamdullah Mohib says the Afghan people desire lasting peace, not a hasty deal that ignores their sacrifices.
Mohib wrote on his Twitter account that peace efforts required strategic patience, tact and courage -- not improvisation without any direction.
“We are humbled by the international interests in bringing peace to Afghanistan and are thankful to our partners, especially the US, KSA and the UAE, for their efforts in this regard,” he added.
