KABUL (IWA) says the national budget plan has somehow reformed, but is still subject to abuse by the government and powerful figures.
The IWA said the government instead of improving its capacity for projects’ implementation and budget spending should reduce the development budget from 132 billion afghanis in 1397 fiscal year to 124 billion afghanis for 1398 fiscal year.
The budget draft for 1398 fiscal year that begins December 22 is 399 billion afghanis including 275 billion afghanis for general and 124 billion for development purposes . . .
