MAIMANA (Pajhwok): Local officials on Saturday said Maimana-Shebrghan highway has been shut for traffic since Friday following a clash between the Afghan forces and the Taliban in the area.
A security official in Faryab, who wished to go unnamed, told Pajhwok Afghan News that Afghan air forces on Friday attacked a Taliban target in Dawlatabad district of Faryab and killed six insurgents including two commanders Ehsanullah Tufan and Mullah Ismail and wounded 13 others.
