KABUL) late Sunday evening announced a new date 20 July, 2019 for the presidential election, pushing back the originate date by three months.
Earlier, the IEC had announced April 20, 2019 the date to hold next presidential and Wolesi Jirga elections in southern Ghazni province.
Some IEC officials had in the past said the provincial council and district council elections would be conducted simultaneously a few months after the presidential elections.
