KABUL Lawyers Association (ALA) has accused the national unity government of violating the Constitution, saying its leaders sought illegal approaches to prolong stay in power.
Abdul Ghayor Ghayor, the ALA president, told a conference titled, ‘Funeral Ceremony of the Constitution,’ in Kabul on Wednesday that the country’s Constitution was repeatedly violated since approved in 2003 and even buried with the establishment of what he called the ‘illegal’ unity government in 2014.
He said the past governments had also violated the Constitution but the national unity . . .
