KABUL representatives resumed talks with US special envoy Zalmay Khalilzad in the Qatari capital Doha, the militant group said in a statement.
The American side arrived at the negotiation table after accepting the agenda to end violence in Afghanistan and that the country posed no threat to other countries and met Taliban representatives in Doha, Taliban spokesman Zabiullah Mujahid said in the statement.
He said the meeting in Doha would continue tomorrow as well.
