MAZAR-I-SHARIF (Pajhwok): The Northern Fertilizer and Power Plant in northern Balkh province has stopped production over the past 15 days after Taliban militants blew up a gas supply pipeline, officials said Wednesday.
Abdul Rahman Afghan, the factory director, confirmed to Pajhwok Afghan News their factory stopped productions 15 days ago after gas supply from the Shiberghan gas fields in neighbouring Jawzjan province was stopped to the plant. He did not know why the gas supply was halted, but said they would resume productions once the gas supply . . .
