SAR-I-PUL (Pajhwok): Residents of northern Sar-i-Pul province have donated 275 acres of land, costing 35 million afghanis, to 115 schools, an official said on Saturday.
Education Director Abdul Ghafoor said the people donated 550,000 square metres of land in the provincial capital and districts. More than 90 percent of schools in the province had buildings.
The remaining 10 percent schools would get building under the Citizens’ Charter Afghanistan Project in near future, he said . . .
