AIBAK (Pajhwok): Construction of buildings for three health clinics have been completed in the capital and two districts of northern Samangan province, an official said on Tuesday.
Dr. Nazar Ahmad Ahmadi, in charge of immunization program at the provincial public health department, told reporters that the construction process of the buildings took one year to complete.
He said one of the buildings was built for health clinic in Zhwandun Dara area of Aibak, provincial capital, the second was built in Baik Qadoq Mohammad village of Hazrat Sultan district and the third was built in Abokhrak village of Rodo Aab district.
The construction of the buildings cost 24 million Afghanis which donated by India, he said.
He added that each of these buildings contained 10 rooms and each could provide health services to around 45,000 people of the region free of cost.
There are 46 health centers in Samangan that include a provincial civil hospital, three district hospitals and 42 clinics, he concluded.
