Blaze near Kabul airport wreaks financial losses: Police

KABUL (UNAMA) in Kabul caused financial losses, an official said on Sunday.

Police spokesman Basir Mujahid told Pajhwok Afghan News the fire erupted near the Hawa Shanasi area close to the Hamid Karzai airport in the limits of 9th police District.

He said the fire triggered by a short circuit and reached an oil tanker which caused financial losses. He said police had arrived at the fire site and were trying to control the blaze.
