LASHKARGAH (Pajhwok): American marine forces on Thursday provided different materials worth more than 200,000 USD in aid to a number of schools in southern Helmand province, officials said Thursday.
Helmand education director Daud Shah Safari, talking to a ceremony on the occasion, said he had recently met with US marine corps personnel based in Helmand and asked them for equipment assistance to a number of schools.
He said the US marines provided different types of equipment to the schools worth 212,000 USD today.
