KABUL (Pajhwok): A number of residents of eastern provinces say they are worried about the presence of Daesh or Islamic State (IS) elements in Kunar province.
Coming all the way Kunar, Nuristan, Laghman and Nangarhar provinces, dozens of residents held a meeting in Kabul and shared their concerns about Daesh.
Haji Hazrat Ali, a lawmaker from Nangarhar, who was also present at the meeting, said, “Daesh militants are present in eight districts of Kunar and one of the group major centers is located in Chals area . . .
