Dostum back in the country after Turkey, Uzbekistan trips

MAZAR-I-SHARIF (Pajhwok): First Vice President Gen. Abdul Rashid Dostum has arrived in northern Balkh province after two months outside the country, an official said on Saturday.

Syed Shamsuddin Sadaat, representative of the Jubesh party in Balk, told Pajhwok Afghan News Dostum arrived in Mazar-i-Sharif this afternoon from neighbouring Uzbekistan.

He said after a brief stay here the first vice president would travel to Jawzjan province.

Sadaat said Dostum traveled to Turkey for medical treatment and spent last three weeks in Uzbekistan.
