JALALBAD (Pajhwok): Thirteen Islamic State (IS) or Daesh insurgents have been killed in airstrikes and artillery attacks in eastern Kunar province, officials said Tuesday.
According to a statement from Silab Military Corps received by Pajhwok Afghan News, the operation was conducted in Chapi district of Kunar on Monday night.
The statement said that 13 Daesh insurgents were killed during the operation involved airstrikes and artillery attacks.
Civilians and government forces suffered no casualties in operation, it added.
