KANDAHAR (Pajhwok): More than 435 million afghanis have been set aside for 434 projects, including 104 school buildings, in southern Kandahar province under the National Solidarity Program (NSP), officials said on Saturday.
NSP spokesman in Kandahar Atta Mohammad Helaman told Pajhwok Afghan News that these projects were being implemented in Kandahar’s Panjwai, Takhta Pul and Spin Boldak districts.
He said by including the 10 percent contribution of local population, the projects would cast 493.7 million afghanis.
He said the schemes included 95 standard irrigation water systems, water reservoirs and retaining walls . . .
