FARAH CITY (Pajhwok): A dozen national police personnel have defected to Taliban militants along with their weapons in western Farah province, residents and a public representative said Wednesday.
Dadullah Qani, a member of the Farah provincial council, told Pajhwok Afghan News 10 policemen of the Bagh-i-Pul check-point of Farah City, the provincial capital, joined the Taliban along with their weapons.
He said another two police of Dehak village check-post defected to the rebels this morning.
