KABUL (Pajhwok): President Ashraf Ghani on Thursday laid the foundation stone for a cultural complex in Maimana, the capital of northern Faryab province, the Presidential Palace said.
The Presidential Palace in a statement received by Pajhwok Afghan News said that during his visit to Faryab, President Ghani also inaugurated a water supply network and a maternity hospital in Maimana city.
President Ghani, heading a high level delegation, arrived in Maimana in the morning to meet floods-affected families and inaugurate some projects.
