KABUL (Pajhwok): Iran’s strategic port of Chabahar will remain exempted from US sanctions, the Ministry of Foreign Affairs (MoFA) says.
Ministry spokesman Sibghatullah Ahmadi tweeted on Monday Foreign Minister Salahuddin Rabbani was assured by a senior US diplomat of the sanctions waiver,
US Principal Deputy Assistant Secretary for South and Central Asia Alice Wells informed Rabbani about the continued waiver with respect to the Chabahar Port.
