PESHAWAR (Pajhwok): The Committee to Protect Journalist on Wednesday called for immediate and unconditional release of a Pakistani reporter.
Gohar Wazir, a reporter with private TV station Khyber News, was detained after covering demonstrations by Pakhtun Protection Movement activists in North Waziristan.
Wazir was arrested by security officials in the Bannu district of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa province, after reporting on PTM demonstrations.
