6 killed, as many injured in Kabul suicide bombing

KABUL (Pajhwok): At least six people were killed and six others wounded as a result of a suicide bombing in Kabul on Thursday, an official said.

Police spokesman Faramarz Ferdos told Pajhwok Afghan News the blast took place as the suicide bomber detonated his explosives at the entrance to the Marshal Fahim Military University.

The bomber detonated the explosives attached to his body after he was positively identified by police, the official said, adding six people were killed and as many wounded.

There was no immediate claim of responsibility for the bombing.
