SHIBERGHAN (Pajhwok): A 28-year-old woman meets her family’s economic needs by cultivating vegetables in her house and selling her produce in northern Jawzjan province.
Rakia, an illiterate woman, has been cultivating different types of vegetables over the past eight years and she has become self-sufficient due to hard work after her family suffered from hunger.
She is inhabitant of Yaka Pata village of Shiberghan City, the provincial capital, and lives with a six-member family.
