MAZAR-I-SHARIF (Pajhwok): Some residents of northern Balkh province on Saturday blocked the Mazar-Shiberghan highway against traffic to protest what they claimed security forces were targeting civilians in their operations.
Security forces and local Afghan Local police (ALP) personnel killed two children and wounded as many civilians during an operation in Alamkhel area on the Mazar-Shiberghan highway today (Saturday) morning.
