Ali Marjan Baheer, a former jihadi commander, told Pajhwok Afghan News the incident took place in Degari area.
He said the nine individuals were killed after a fire erupted inside the mine. The victims’ bodies were pulled out after 40 hours of strenuous efforts.
Marjan said all the victims were resident of Chak district and their bodies were transported home on Wednesday.
Pakistani media said the mine was 4,500 feet deep . . .
