JALALABAD (Pajhwok): After Kabul and Herat provinces, the distribution of computerized national identity card (CNIC) also kicked off in eastern Nangarhar province on Monday, officials said.
A CNIC distribution center was inaugurated by Governor Shah Mahmood Maikhel and Pollution Registration Department (PRD) head for Nangarhar Ahmad Javed Rasooli in Jalalabad, the provincial capital.
The PRD head told a press conference that 250,000 individuals had so far received electronic ID cards throughout the country.
