KABUL (Pajhwok): The death toll from an overnight attack on the office of vice-presidential candidate Amrullah Saleh has soared to 20, an official said on Monday.
More than 50 people were wounded in the armed attack on the former spymaster’s political office in Kabul, said the Interior Ministry spokesman.
Nasrat Rahimi told Pajhwok Afghan News the suicide attack began with a massive explosion at 4:40pm, with the ensuing clash lasting six hours.
