SHIBERGHAN (Pajhwok): Some individuals have been attempting to grab thousands of acres of land with fake signatures of former president Hamid Karzai in Shiberghan, the capital of northern Jawzjan province, officials said on Wednesday.
Eng. Mohammad Hussain Saleh, Shiberghan mayor, told Pajhwok Afghan News that according documents their office had received some individuals were trying to sell five thousand acres of land illegally on disabled people.
He said such persons had a fake decree from ex-president Hamid Karzai under which a township is to be constructed for 22,000 displaced people in Seshanbi village . . .
