FARAH (Pajhwok): Eight people, including women and children, were killed in a roadside bombing in Anardara district of western Farah province on Sunday.
Police spokesman Mohammadullah Moheb said the car was carrying family members when it hit the hidden bomb. Four children were among the dead.
He said the target was Abdul Sai, the Anardara district police chief, but he was unharmed in the blast.
Naseer, a resident of Anardra district, also confirmed the mine explosion near the house of Abdul Sai in the bazaar . . .
