KANDAHAR CITY (Pajhwok): Local officials say 60,000 children would be enrolled in schools in southern Kandahar province at the start of new academic year which begins on September 6 in warm provinces.
Nazar Mohammad Samimi, Kandahar education department spokesman, told Pajhwok Afghan News that besides enrolling new children to schools, they had also started employing new teachers to fill vacancies this academic year.
This academic year, 60,000 new students including boys and girls would be admitted to Kandahar schools and the number was double compared . . .
