JALALABAD (Pajhwok): Private healthcare centers have been closed in the capital of eastern Nangarhar in a protest over the killing of a doctor in the province.
Health workers in a protest gathering today in Jalalabad city said that security threats against doctors were increased and health workers were threatened and their family members kidnapped on daily basis.
On last Tuesday, a doctor named Nawroz Shinwari was killed after a magnetic bomb attached to his vehicle exploded in fourth police district of Jalalabad city.
