KABUL (Pajhwok): At least four security forces were killed as a result of car bombing on the Commando Forces facility in capital Kabul on Thursday afternoon, the Ministry of Interior (MoI) said.
MoI Spokesman Nasrat Rahimi told Pajhwok Afghan News that incident took place around 12:50pm.
Rahimi said suicide bomber inside a Mercedes vehicle exploded himself in front of Commando Forces base Chahar Asiab district.
Taliban claimed responsibility for the bombing. The group’s spokesman Zabihullah Mujahid said dozens of Commando Forces suffered casualties after the explosives-packed vehicle targeted their base.
On the other hand, Ministry of Defence in a statement confirmed the bombing and said four security forces were killed and three others wounded.
