PUL-I-ALAM (Pajhwok): A child was killed and a woman injured when a US forces convoy came under a car bomb attack in this capital city of central Logar province on Thursday.
An Afghan Army commander Shakil Ahmad Tasul told Pajhwok Afghan News the American troops were attacked in Khadar bazaar area on the backside of Badkhwab locality of Pul-i-Alam shortly after 6pm.
He said a car bomb was used in the attack that left two civilians --- a child and a woman dead. He said the Americans escaped unharmed.
