PESHAWAR (Pajhwok): Peace will continue to elude the region as long as Afghanistan’s sovereignty is not accepted, says a senior leader of the Awami National Party (ANP).
Speaking on the Pakhtun Culture Day in Peshawar on Monday, ANP general secretary Mian Iftikhar Hussain called for stabilising Afghanistan.
The global fraternity should not think of peace, absent serious and determined efforts for restoration of stability in Afghanistan, he said.
