He renewed the UN commitment at a meeting with National Security Advisor Hamdullah Mohib on the sidelines of the General Assembly in New York on Monday.
The UN chief and Mobib discussed recent elections, security situation and prospects of peace and stability in Afghanistan, the NSA tweeted.
Separately, Mohib also met Turkmenistan Foreign Minister Rasit Meredow and discussed issues of bilateral interest.
They highlighted Turkmenistan’s role in Afghanistan, regional connectivity projects, stability and regional cooperation.
