Taliban to attend intra-Afghan talks in China

KABUL’s political office in Qatar says its delegation will participate in intra-Afghan talks in China.

Taliban spokesman Suhail Shaheen tweeted China’s special representative for Afghanistan Baradar, head of the movement’s political office, in Doha.

He said the Chinese envoy invited a Taliban delegation, led by Mullah Baradar to the Beijing meeting.

According to Shaheen, the conference in China is similar to the meetings that have taken place in Moscow and Doha.
