HERAT CITY (Pajhwok): Land acquisition for the Turkmenistan-Afghanistan-India (TAPI) pipeline project route has been formally launched in western Herat province, officials said on Thursday.
Governor Abdul Qayum Rahimi on Wednesday visited Torghandi town of Kashak district and formally inaugurated the identification of private and government land on the TAPI project route.
He said land registration for the project route was being conducted by a team of the Ministry of Urban Development and Land Authority.
