The governor of western Herat has called for expediting the implementation of the Turkmenistan-Afghanistan-Pakistan-India (TAPI) gas pipeline project during a meeting with the project's head in Afghanistan and Turkmenistan's deputy consul.
The Ministry of Mines and Petroleum (MoMP) says construction work on the Turkmenistan-Afghanistan-Pakistan-India (TAPI) gas pipeline project is continuing rapidly in western Herat province, with 80 kilometres of pipeline having so far been laid.
Local officials in western Herat say that practical work on the TAPI (Turkmenistan–Afghanistan–Pakistan–India) gas pipeline project is continuing in an orderly and rapid manner in Afghanistan, with significant progress achieved in various sections of the project.
