Women Affairs Department head for Nangahar Fatana Aziz lamented the increase in violence against the gender at a gathering marking International Day for the Elimination of Violence against Women.
According to her information, 91 cases of violence against women were registered within the past seven months of this year in Nangarhar. The cases included elopement, forced marriages, physical violence, mental torture and others.
