22 more IS fighters surrender in Nangarhar

KABUL (Pajhwok) Twenty-two more Daesh (Islamic State) rebels have surrendered to security forces in eastern Nangarhar province, says the Ministry of Defence (MoD).

In a statement, MoD said the rebels surrendered during an operation in Achin district. The 22 member of Daesh also handed over 18 weapons to the government.

Recently, 280 militants, including women and children, have turned themselves over to security forces in the province.
