KABUL (Pajhwok): Afghan spinner Mujeeb Ur Rahman has returned to Middlesex for next season’s Twenty20 Blast campaign, the BBC reported on Thursday.
“I enjoyed my time at Middlesex so much, so I am very pleased to be coming back,” said the off-break bowler after inking the contract.
In the 10 je played matches last season, the teenaged spinner captured seven wickets for the British club. Next year, he will be available for all 14 group-stage matches.
Middlesex Coach Stuart Law said it was great to have Mujib in the squad. “It’s great to have Mujeeb locked in for the Blast again in 2020.”
The spinner is ranked 3rd in the ODIs and 2nd in T20Is in the latest International Cricket Council rankings.
