PUL-I-KHUMRI (Pajhwok): Hundreds of residents of northern Baghlan province on Saturday staged a protest rally, demanding resumption of the vote recount and audit process in the province.
A day earlier, the vote recount and audit process was completed in 27 provinces, but the process has been stopped in seven provinces, including Baghlan province, due to opposition of the ‘Stability and Partnership’ electoral team.
But residents of Pul-i-Khumri, the provincial capital, on Saturday staged a protest rally and demanded resumption of the vote recount and audit process in the province.
