KABUL have to give up violence, cut ties to Al-Qaeda and recognise the government in Kabul as part of a possible peace deal, says an influential US lawmaker.
Sen. Tom Cotton said in an interview on Friday. "Obviously, we will have the Taliban be part of any ultimate political solution in Afghanistan."
