KABUL citizen hiding a kilogram of gold has been arrested at the Indira Gandhi International airport in New Delhi, Indian media reported on Monday.
The man was held after he flew into the Indian capital from Afghanistan’s northern city of Mazar-e-Sharif, the Pioneer said.
A personal and baggage search of the passenger led to the recovery of 997 grams of gold, valued at Rs 34.23 lakh, the newspaper added.
