KABUL (JIA) council, led by Syed Ibrahim Emmad, has demanded the announcement of presidential election’s preliminary result and peace talks to be Afghan-led and supervised under the existing system.
Addressing reporters here, Ammad said their council wanted prompt announcement of the preliminary election results because most of economic activities such as construction, businesses and others had been stopped due to uncertainty created by the election deadlock, which could be overcome with announcement of the preliminary result.
