KABUL (Pajhwok): The Afghan National Army (ANA) will participate for the first time in a major military exercise in Turkey, says the Ministry of Defense.
The decision came at a meeting between Deputy Minister Munera Yosufzada and her Turkish counterpart Yunus Emre Karaosmanoglu in Ankara.
A statement from MoD said on Saturday the two officials discussed achievements and challenges of ANA trainees based in Turkey and the treatment of the injured military personnel in Turkish hospitals.
